I have always loved working with the Miss Riverton Pageant based locally in Utah. This is a scholarship pageant through the Miss America Organization. The last two years I have had the pleasure of working with the current Miss Riverton one on one to create a display showcasing their work over the past year. I just wanted to share this fun display with you all as this organization has played a huge roll in my life over the past 5 years. Each year a platform is created, which explains what service you would like to provide to the community if you are chosen. This year the platform was "Literacy: Window to the World". I loved playing off of this and using items such as book pages, books, and our typewriter all in a fun color scheme to tie in Miss Riverton's platform. I enjoyed setting this up as it is something outside of my usual line of work! Maybe next year you will have to stop by and see the newest display for yourself! -J
