Eric + Grace {Ogden Union Station}

If you haven't taken a stroll down to Ogden Union Station, I highly suggest it!  From the moment you walk in there is a 1920's industrial feel to the place.  From the architecture and red brick to the antique car museum this place is sure to please anyone with a vintage passion.  As I said before it had an industrial design to the building which was really fun to incorporate.  I don't often have the opportunity to throw my entire collection into an industrious space; and so by switching gears I really saw how versatile each piece can be.
Most of the pictures you see below are with the overhead station lights on.  Once we turned the lights down, the ambiance lighting set the stage.  Strings of lights were hung throughout the venue with one of the largest chandeliers I have ever seen right in the center above where the buffet tables meet.  Unfortunately, I would have lost a lot of details if I were to post pictures in this lighting... so just imagine the beauty with the lights turned down.
One of my favorite highlights from the night was the sitting area near the stage.  It was set up with a rug as if you were literally inside a living room.  This created a more intimate and informal feel for guests who just wanted to socialize and relax for a moment.  The grooms family crafted a light out of an old wheel and old bottles.  It was the most amazing light and really added to tie this space all together.  No... unfortunately this isn't my light.... but you can bet it is on my list of must haves!  I also loved the use of our claw foot tub as a catch all for the gifts.  Since it is over sized it was the perfect area to drop gifts, that way they weren't overwhelming the entire space.  Also a big trend I saw this summer was the use of baby's breath and similar flowers.  I used this quite often as it is simple, affordable, and very versatile.  It can be tied in to any theme or color scheme with ease!
This wedding was a full decor wedding package.  If you would like to work with us on designing and renting our entire collection including items not listed on our site please contact us directly.  All items you see below are property of Odds and Ends Vintage Design and Rental, LLC and are currently available upon request.  Some items are not listed currently online, please inquire for more information.
